You've been challenged Your friend hears up to 15.2 kHz. Can you top it?
A beep climbs from 8 kHz toward 20 kHz. Tell it when it's gone, and we'll guess the age of your ears.
- Headphones help. Wired ones if you have them. Plenty of speakers and earbuds fade out above 15 kHz on their own.
- Never loud. Every beep plays at one fixed, gentle level, and the high ones are never boosted.
- A party trick, not a hearing test. If you're worried about your hearing, an audiologist can check it properly.
